Car Seat Consultation

Appointments are welcome at our premises for a full consultation to provide you with all the information you need to purchase a car seat, suitable for your vehicle, child and budget. This can include physical demonstrations of a variety of seats, although most customers are guided by our advice and expertise.

Stock is available for you to take your chosen seat away on the day of your appointment, along with a demonstration on how to correctly fit and use your car seat. 

This is a one time appointment, once you have purchased your seat, it’s important you are confident to use and install it, you cannot come back multiple times for a professional installation. 

Appointments are chargeable at £20, this is payable upon booking to secure the appointment, and to protect our time in the event of late cancellations. 

Cancelling your appointment more than 24 hours before will allow your appointment fee to be refunded. 

The appointment fee is not deductible off a purchase.

FAQ

Refunds / Returns / Exchanges

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return, you must however inform us you want to return the item within the first 14 days. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, we can amend the order to the desired item. 


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

How will I know if my carseat is correctly installed?

If your not confident your carseat is not installed correctly, simply send us an email or use the chat function below, and we can offer remote support to ensure the seat is correctly installed, and check the child fits well.

My childs keeps getting out the carseat

If we have checked the fit of the child and all is correct, there is not much more to do with a child that can escape the harness, or open the buckle.

The besafe belt collector is a universal tool to help prevent children slipping the harness of the shoulders .

When should my child change to a forward facing car seat?

It is safest for children to travel rear facing up to 125cm / 36KG, or a minimum go age five years.

We reserve the right to decline advise for forward facing car seats.
